Public Shade Tree Hearing

The Tree Warden, at the request of National Grid, will hold a Public Hearing pursuant to Section 3 of Chapter 87, M.G.L., to consider removing the following trees located on Athol-Richmond Road;

• pole 90-91, 24″ Maple;

• pole 107-50, 40″ Maple;

• pole 110, 30″ Oak;

• pole 119, 16″ Maple;

• pole 128, 20″ Ash, 17″ Ash;

• pole 213, 20″ Oak.

The hearing is open to the public for comment.
Written objections to the removal of the trees may be submitted to the Tree Warden at or before the Public Hearing.
National Grid has requested that these trees be removed for the following reason:  Hazard to Wires

Therefore the Tree Warden will hold a public hearing for this purpose on August 17, 2021 at 7:00
p.m. in the Royalston Town Hall.

The citizens of Royalston are invited to come to the hearing and make known their feelings about this action.

Written comments concerning this action can be submitted to the Tree Warden or any Select Board Member at or before the public hearing.
