2006 Tax Bills

The 2006 Real Estate Tax Bills are finally out!

After what has seemed like an endless number of delays, frustrating for tax payers and the town alike, the state has finally approved the paperwork to set the tax rate.

Bills went in the mail on Monday July 10, 2006 and are due August 14th.

Tax Takings

New properties listed for tax takings were posted with the Athol Daily News on Thursday June 29. Property taxes not paid in full by Monday July 17th will be put into Tax Title. Click here for a copy of the Legal Notice.

Office Hours

The tax office is open Mondays from 2:00 - 7:00 PM. The office will also be open on Wed evenings of July 19th and August 2. Other times by appointment.

Mail for the Tax Collector MUST be sent to PO Box 16, Royalston MA, 01368. There is no delivery directly to the Tax Office.

The Tax office is located at 5 School Street in South Royalston in Whitney Hall (The former School).
