The Royalston
Cultural Council offers grants to individuals, schools, and organizations
that propose to bring innovative cultural programming to Royalston and
nearby towns. Funding for cultural field trips is also available through
the PASS
Program and the
Big Yellow School Bus Program, which subsidize the cost of admission
and transport for students to attend performances, educational tours
and exhibits.

2010
Our 2009 survey shows that people want more community-wide events such as dances,
movie nights/film series,
concerts, and plays -- especially comedies.
We also welcome photographers, craftspeople, nature artists, and field naturalists to offer instruction for all ages.
We had $4000 available for funding in 2009-2010; our allocation may be smaller in 2010.
Applicants are strongly encouraged to contact the Royalston
Cultural Council to discuss their intended program before submitting an application. Applications are easy to fill out, but applicants
should specifically indicate how their proposed program will benefit
the cultural life of Royalston and the region.
Generic and repeat proposals usually do not receive funding.
Grant applications are due October 15 each year.
