The meeting convened at 7:30 p.m. at town hall.

Minutes: The minutes of April 9, 2009, were accepted unanimously.


Open Space and Recreation Plan Update:
The committee continued work on updating the Open Space and Recreation Plan:

1) Aaron will post the draft on the web, and the committee will accept comments until the next meeting on June 11.

2) At that meeting, the committee will take a final look at the new Action Plan.

3) Once the committee has accepted the plan, it will go the Royalston Selectboard, Planning Board, and Conservation Commission and to the Montachusett Regional Planning Commission.

4) Kim will check the specific process of submitting the plan to the state.

 

Open Spaces:
Aaron reported that a parcel of open land in the center may be preserved by a complicated agreement organized by Mount Grace Land Conservation Trust between the landowner, the town, the state, and the Trustees of Reservations.
