The meeting convened at 7:30 p.m. at town hall.

Minutes: The minutes of May 8, 2008, were accepted unanimously.

Internal Matters: The committee voted unanimously to reimburse Aaron $43.86 for
the mailing of CPA open meeting information.

Community Preservation Act (CPA):
Aaron reported that the ballot language for the CPA must be submitted to the state by
September 1, along with a statement of its objectives and an explanation of a yes vote
and a no vote, to be written by town counsel.

The committee will try to staff a CPA information table at the town Music Fest on
Sunday, July 20 form 12-5 p.m. Aaron will update the flyer to reflect concerns raised
at town meeting, and he and Elizabeth will prepare a moveable display.

Committee members are asked to brainstorm about a possible slogan for our campaign.

Jack will provide an updated voter list by our July meeting. The committee will then
organize telephone calls and mailings for September and October and compile a
list of supporters.

The committee will also organize both general and targeted informational meetings in the
fall. Possible venues include the general store, churches, senior luncheons, and the library.

The committee will seek quotations from several key people in town.

The committee considered whether we should organize a voter pick-up for election day,
but made no decision on that question.

The meeting adjourned at 8:30 p.m.
