Royalston residents are eligible for housing rehabilitation assistance loans and grants made available by the Massachusetts Community Development Block Grant program.  Royalston, Petersham, Phillipston, and Athol, in cooperation with the Athol Office of Planning and Development received $800,000 in grant monies during the 2007 funding cycle.  This program supports Royalston's Community Development Strategy.
